This policy explains what information GreenWick collects when you use greenwick.trade, why we collect it, and what choices you have. We have tried to write it in plain English rather than legal boilerplate.
Who we are
GreenWick publishes free educational content about small-cap day trading, along with reviews of brokers and trading tools. The site is operated as an independent publisher. You can reach us at hello@greenwick.trade.
Information you give us directly
The only information we ask you for is your first name and email address, and only if you choose to request one of our free downloads. We use that information to send you the file you asked for and, if you have opted in, occasional emails about new broker reviews, tools and lessons. You can unsubscribe from any email we send using the link at the bottom of it, or by emailing us.
We never sell your email address, and we do not share it with brokers, tool vendors or advertisers.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we collect basic technical and usage information so we can understand what content is useful. This includes the pages you visit, how long you stay, the site or search engine that referred you, your approximate location at city or country level, your device type, screen size and browser, and an anonymised form of your IP address.
We use Google Analytics 4 for this. Google acts as a data processor and its own privacy terms apply to the data it holds. We have IP anonymisation enabled. We do not use this data to identify you personally.
Cookies and similar technologies
We group the small files stored on your device into four categories, and you control three of them through the consent banner shown on your first visit:
- Strictly necessary — required for the site to function and for your consent choices to be remembered. These cannot be switched off.
- Functional — support features such as embedded content and social sharing.
- Analytical — help us count visits and understand which pages are read.
- Advertising — we do not currently run advertising trackers on this site.
You can change your choices at any time using the preferences icon shown on every page, and you can clear stored files through your browser settings.
Third parties whose code runs on this site
Some features are provided by external services. When those features load, the provider may receive your IP address and basic browser information:
- Google Analytics — visitor measurement.
- Google Fonts — typefaces used across the site.
- TradingView — the market data widget shown on the home page.
- Our form and email providers — used to receive and respond to download requests.
- Our hosting provider — maintains standard server access logs for security and troubleshooting.
Links to brokers and tool providers
This site contains links to third-party brokers and software companies, some of which are commercial partnerships. When you follow one of those links you leave GreenWick and the destination site’s own privacy policy applies. We do not pass your name, email address or any other personal information to them. Please see our Affiliate Disclosure for how these partnerships work.
How long we keep information
Analytics data is retained for 14 months. Email subscriber records are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, after which they are removed within 30 days. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time. Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have these rights under the GDPR. Residents of California have comparable rights under the CCPA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under the CCPA.

Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection and we take reasonable steps to protect the limited information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Material changes will be announced to email subscribers.
